This Fantastic mid century circular Chrome and glass coffee table has been designed and produced in Italy in the 1970's. It features a tubular chrome base with a glass top It is very close in design of Giotto Stoppino.

Giotto Stoppino was born in Vigevano (PV) in 1926, Italian architect and designer is known for being among the first designers to use plastic in his projects and products made famous by companies such as Kartell.
the Space Age furniture was a mix of futuristic and organic design. To shoot for the stars, Space Age designs used motifs such as atomic bursts, UFOs, satellites, capsule and pod-shapes. Pedestal chairs and tables became very common and the new plastics replaced the wood as the leading material of the moment.
